Isaiah Streblow, Artist Bio
Isaiah Streblow is a Christian, son, brother, Minnesotan, baker, and farmer, in that order of priority. Born out of that medley of loyalties is his artwork. Produced under the studio name Pipedreamers, his pieces follow a rustic industrial aesthetic inspired by the beauty of useful things – plumbing supplies, old-world machinery, and natural materials. In that same vein, they are intended both as functional furniture and decoration, as form and function. A key theme of his art is the illusion of light as water, controlled by valves and pipes rather than switches and wires.
In 2019, Isaiah assumed the role of baker at Carl’s Bakery in Granite Falls, Minnesota, together with his family. His work is frequently on display there, and he resides at his studio location, Streblow Family Farm, outside the same town.
