Neva Foster, Artist Bio
Neva Foster started watercolor painting more than 15 years ago in an effort to find a creative outlet and something non-medical to do. She showed up to at a class in Watertown South Dakota, bought three paint brushes, three tubes of watercolor paint and her adventure began!
Now from that she has turned her son’s old bedroom into an art space and it is over flowing with all the brushes, paints, and other art supplies … you can never have too much creative materials. Neva said that painting takes her to a meditative place that she craves. She tries to block out several hours at a time to get some creative work done. She is still working four days a week, and has eight grandchildren that all like to try their hand at painting when they have time at Grandma’s house.
