Jess Gorman
Raised in suburbs of Dayton, Ohio, Jess Gorman became captivated at a young age by the aesthetic juxtaposition of the cities competing themes. The manufacturing and industrial decay coupled with revitalization and vibrant greenspace made southwestern Ohio a grudge match of clean lines, rust and rolling emerald hills.

Jess’s eyes continued to seek out this captivating conflict in other places. From the river ways of the Ozarks to the peaks of the Colorado Rockies and on to the wild of the undiscovered small towns of the Minnesota southwest; she says she has been privileged to capture the people and places that comprise these iconic communities.

Whether it’s offering her personal discoveries, commissioned work around a client’s theme or building community through arts initiatives, her aspiration is to expand the arts by access and definition.
