Chuck & Leasa Thompson, Artist Bio
While Chuck is relatively new to the art Scene, he has been a maker for over 20 years in carpentry and wood design. Chuck has been drawn to glazing and hand building with clay and incorporating wood design to pieces.
Leasa is a veteran artist, graduating from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, she works with clay through pottery and watercolor and acrylic painting. Her focus is in stoneware, wheel- thrown clay creations. Each of her clay vessels contains a hidden cross. This has been a symbol of her faith placed in her work for over 15 years.
The husband and wife team,has joined their creativity and brought it to their farm near Madison, Minnesota. Together they capture the beauty found in both individual and collaborative work.
