Patrice Geyen, Artist Bio
Patrice Geyen started to create jewelry in 2010 and since then has been hooked. “When I need a change from the Viking Knit technique, I love seed beading which I taught myself from books – a close relative of embroidery. Just stringing beads is simple, but I generally use upper grade gemstones and pearls.”
She was brought up in a family with a strong Scandinavian heritage and learned many different crafts. That Norwegian influence has evolved into Viking Knit and Sami designs, the Yggdrasil Tree of Life pendant from Norse mythology, and pendants of various Nordic runes.
